Turning 60 years of age is an event you have to make special. I dreamt of visiting the Kruger National Park and spending my special day just admiring the stunning view at Olifants Camp. At least, this is what I wanted to do last year but Covid prevented all of that. Fortunately, SANParks was so kind to allow me to postpone my reservations to this year at no additional cost.
So this tour will take you on a long road-trip, via family and friends on the way, to the Kruger National Park and back. The trip took a month and included diverse experiences from a funeral, a visit to the most brilliant war museum I have ever seen, towns I have not ever seen before, Crook’s Corner (the most North-Eastern point of South Africa), driving past a “total nobody”, seeing the most scary snake in the world and even piloting a plane myself.
I am excited all over again just to tell you this story…
