After our quick pit stop last winter at Klaarstroom, we decided that this year we will sleep one night in the hotel on our way to the north. We then visited Anette’s parents in Beaufort-West and thereafter carried on to the Mokala game reserve, one of our favourites. On our way back home we spent a night in both Loxton and Merweville – the latter something we have wanted to do since we watched the Afrikaans series “Die Boekklub” that was filmed in Merweville.
